Eleonora Smirnova is one of those happy people who'd discovered their
talent at a very early age. Her father, a musical teacher in St.
Petersburg, Russia, noticed daughter's vocal abilities when she was
seven years old and began giving Eleonora singing lessons.
From age eleven up to age twenty one, Eleonora took private vocal
classes that have helped her to build and polish her beautiful voice.
Her musical background is not just vast and wide, but as well honorary and impressive. While being tutored privately for ten years, she graduated a music school majoring in violin, and then continued her musical education studying for conductor of chorus.
Eleonora's voice touches her audience to their very soul. The beautiful combination of lyrics, music and emotions has brought some listeners to tears. Her knowledge about the structure and personality of such a wonderful voice as soprano allows listeners to remember the long forgotten, yet real and beautiful skill of Russian Romantic songs.
Eleonora Smirnova made a duet with a talented guitarist, Sergey
Kalyuzhny. Sergey has played with many popular performers in Saint-
Petersburg, including famous Gypsy groups Sudarynya (The Lady) and
Subbota (The Sabbath). Very passionate about his work and in complete
love with Russian romantic songs, Sergey's incredible knowledge of the
art of the guitar and Eleonora's touching soprano voice make these two
musicians perfect for working together. The duet is seamlessly put
together, and the collaboration between the two musicians is well
heard through their music.
